Former Tata Finance Managing Director Dilip Pendse allegedly commits suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in Mumbai on Monday.
It was reported that the Pendse left a suicide note, in which he mentioned that the step he has taken have personal reasons behind it and no one should be blamed for the incident.
“Pendse was found hanging at his ground floor office in a building in Matunga”, the police department said in a statement.
In a statement, the police officer said, “Pendse’s wife called her husband multiple times when he did not come home for lunch but all the calls went unanswered. She went downstairs to check and found Pendse hanging from the ceiling fan. She called her neighbours for help who then informed the police at around 2:30 pm”.
It was believed that Dilip Pendse was serving as a Managing Director at Tata Finance from 90’s to 2001.
However, Police has registered a case of accidental death.
