In a recent buzz, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a charge sheet against the Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, his wife and among others in a disproportionate assets case.
Earlier on Friday, The Delhi High Court has dismissed the petition of sitting Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Virbhadra Singh endeavored the cancellation of the FIR filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation against him and his wife in connection with the disproportionate assets case.
In a statement, the court said, “The writ petition is dismissed. Stay is vacated”.
However, the FIR was registered under the sections 13(2) and 13(1)(e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act and Section 109 of IPC, which was filed by the CBI on September 23, 2015.
