Indian universities website hacked by Pro-Pakistan group

The official websites of at least ten Indian Universities including University of Delhi, IIT- Delhi, IIT-BHU, University of Kerala and Aligarh Muslim University, were disfigured by a Pro-Pakistan group on Tuesday late night.

It is reported Aligarh Muslim University, IIT-BHU, University of Kerala have restored their websites while others like the University of Delhi, IIT Delhi are still working on repairing.

In wee hours of Wednesday, the visitors of website observed message on prominent universities  “government, and the people of India,” with a soundtrack of Pakistani rock band, ‘Zeest’ in the background.

“Greetings Government of India, and the people of India. Do you know what your so-called heroes (soldiers) are doing in Kashmir? Do you know they are killing many innocent people in Kashmir?” was the message on all defunct educational institute websites along with two videos of alleged brutalities committed by Indian Soldiers in the Kashmir valley.

This incident comes at a time when the new academic season in around the corner and country is witnessing amid unrest over the issue of Kashmiri students.
