IT raid taken out at TN Health Minister Residence, among others

The income tax officials have conducted search operations at the residence of the Tamil Nadu Health Minister C Vijaya Bhaskar’s residence and among others on Friday.

The IT raid began at the residence of Tamil Nadu Health Minister C Vijaya Bhaskar’s residence and among others at around 6 a.m. in the morning.

While confirming the latest piece of news an official from the I-T Investigation wing said in a statement, “The raids began early this morning. About a hundred officials have been pressed into service”.

Tamil Nadu health minister Vijaya Bhaskar clarifies the buzz by uttering he was unnecessarily being harassed and adding further to this he said, “I am innocent and have done no wrong. They are unnecessarily harassing me and my children. They have not allowed my child to go to school”.

In a statement, a senior I-T official said, “The Minister and his relatives were on the radar of the Income Tax. In the last few days, we have received complaints that the Minister was directly involved in the distribution of cash to voters in RK Nagar where the election is scheduled to be held on April 12″.

However, The Health Minister Vijaya Bhaskar in an interaction with the reporters clears the news when media were gathered outside his residence to record his statements.
