A massive landslide which occurred on Tuesday has been forced to make the Jammu-Srinagar national highway shut, which connects the Kashmir valley to the rest of the state.
Hundreds of vehicles which were about to leave the Kashmir valley has been stopped at different places in Jammu.
In a statement police official said, “A massive landslide has occurred on the highway at Mehar in Ramban district late last night thereby blocking the highway for vehicular traffic”.
It was reported that over 500 vehicles were forced to halt.
However, till the time green signal is not received from BRO and traffic police officials, the vehicles will not be only allowed to move from Jammu.
