Jayalalithaa died of organ failure says UK’s Dr Richard Beale

On Monday, A team of doctors including UK’s Doctor Richard Beale of UK who were involved in the treatment of late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa said in a press conference that she died because of organ failure as she had sepsis.

Dr. Richard Beale said, “Best treatment was given to Jayalalithaa, but her diabetes led to complications.”

After amid speculation over Jayalalithaa’s death Beale clarified by saying “at the initial stage when she was treated with non-invasive ventilation, her condition was improving and she also interacted with signs but sepsis developed, but later her health was continuously deteriorated, so following this it was essential for her to put on a ventilator.

He also said there was no amputation and no transplantation was done. A team of doctors added there were no conspiracy and no strange thing happened.

The press conference was organized by Tamil Nadu’s state government in Chennai to address speculations and allegations over Jayalalithaa’s death.
