Maoists attacked Odisha’s Doikallu railway station in Rayagada district on Friday early morning.
The assailants triggered a blast, snatched walkie-talkies used by railway officials and also vandalized engine of a goods train.
Not only this, hand-written posters were also found at the station which was against the guidelines of central and state government.
Some of the posters were against the appointment of non-odia senior officials in the state police as well as in management.
Through a poster, armed Naxalites also opposed the proposed two-day visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Odisha in the next month.
Several trains were diverted and canceled due to this violence in the area. However, no official or local people injured in the incident.
