Two Indian Army personnel were injured when militants attacked a security force search party at Shahgund Hajin in Bandipora District in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday morning.
An encounter between security forces and terrorists is underway.
The attack was carried out by militants when Indian Army engaged in massive cordon and search operations.
According to the Officials, two soldiers named, Naik Madan Singh and Sepoy H Krishna were injured in the firing by militants, who managed to escape from the region. Injured soldiers were immediately taken to Army’s 92 Base Hospital for the treatment.
