Narcotics Control Bureau seizes seven packets of heroin near Kakar border in Punjab

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) recovered seven packets of heroin near the international border of Kakar in Punjab on Friday.

This is not anything new for Punjab, as a state is known for amid drugs dealing and supplying across the region.

Earlier, on January 30 the Border Security Force (BSF) had seized four packets of heroin weighing around four kilograms from Pulmoran area near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Amritsar.

Not only this, recently it was reported that Surveillance teams comprising of Punjab police, Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB), state excise and income tax department have recorded seizure of about Rs 67 crore worth of liquor, drugs, and gold in Punjab from January 4 till the polling day.
