Sasikala visited Jayalalithaa’s memorial and MGR residence, before heading towards Bengaluru

Following her conviction in the disproportionate case, Sasikala appealed the Supreme Court to give more time to surrender but the Supreme Court refused on the appeal and asked her to surrender immediately.

AIADMK Chief Sasikala is likely to surrender before Karnataka High court on Wednesday evening.

In the morning before heading towards Bengaluru, Sasikala visited Jayalalithaa memorial at Chennai’s Marina Beach and paid floral tribute to Jayalalithaa.

After visiting Jayalalithaa memorial, Sasikala reached MGR residence.

Meanwhile, Sasikala appointed her nephew TTV Dinakaran as deputy general secretary of AIADMK on Wednesday. In 2011, Dinakaran was debarred by Jayalalithaa from the ruling party.

Sasikala’s lawyer Kulashekharan has urged Bengaluru court not to issue the arrest warrant against her, as she is likely to surrender by evening.

The Huge ruckus of Chinamma’s supporters was seen outside Jayalalithaa’s poes garden residence where AIADMK Chief Sasikala was living.
