Sultan of Bollywood turns 51, we wish him a long graceful and healthy life.

Salman Khan has won millions of hearts across the country with his outstanding performances as a singer, actor, dancer and host. No doubt he is spectacular in his own way.

On this special occasion of his birthday, have glimpse of his Bollywood journey.

Salman Khan was born on December 25, 1965. He did his schooling from St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai. Later he studied at The Scindia School, Gwalior for a few years along with his younger brother Arbaaz. He attended St.Xavier’s College in Mumbai and after some time he dropped out.

Salman khan started his Bollywood career as a supporting role in “Biwi Ho To Aisi”. His first movie as a lead actor was “Maine Pyar Kiya”. In 1990 he was seen in only film Baaghi, it was a hit following this, in 1991 he did three back to back hits Patthar Ke Phool, Sanam Bewafa and Saajan.

The years, 1992-1993, was not so good for Salman with films like Suryavanshi, Ek Ladka Ek Ladki, Jaagruti, Nishchaiy, Chandra Mukhi and Dil Tera Aashiq. In 1994 Salman Khan regained his success, with the blockbuster hit “Hum Aapke Hain Koun”.

He did Karan Arjun in 1995 , co-starring Shah Rukh Khan directed by Rajesh Roshan which was again a hit. Later, with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam  and Khuch khuch Hota Hai, he gained much fame.

2000 -2002 was not so promising for Salman Khan, he acted in several films, but it didn’t perform well at the box-office.

In 2003, Tere Naam was the major comeback of Salman Khan. Later he nailed it with his comedies like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, No Entry and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya.

The Years between 2004- 2008 was not impressive for Salman Khan. With Dabang he returned to his success. After kick he ruled out the box-office till now with blockbuster hits like Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Sultan.

The Year 2016, has been a very exciting year for Salman Khan, he touched hearts with his blockbuster wrestling movie “Sultan” and no one can ever forget his song “Jag Ghoomeya”.

Currently he is hosting a famous reality show “Big boss season 10”. Bhaijaan with his an estimated earnings of Rs 270.33 crore has topped the Forbes 2016 Indian Celebrity List of the year.

Salman khan witnessed both hits and failures throughout his Bollywood journey but, however now he has proved he is the Sultan of Bollywood.
