The superstar of Bollywood Salman Khan honoured with a prestigious award of Global Diversity Award 2017 for his achievements of his talent in the field of cinema and his involvement in philanthropic endeavors.
Salman Khan was recently shooting in Abu Dhabi for his forthcoming movie under the banner of Yash Raj Films’ Tiger Zinda Hai which is a sequel of 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger.
Katrina Kaif will be also sharing the screen space with the Salman Khan.
The Dabangg Khan of Bollywood who is presently very demanding in the industry has received an award from Keith Vaz, British Parliament who is a longest-serving Asian MP.
Keith Vaz, British Parliament’s longest-serving Asian MP said in a statement, “The Global Diversity Award is given to people of immense stature in terms of what they have done for diversity in the world, and he is certainly one of them”.
Keith Vaz praised the noted actor by quoting, “not just a megastar for Indian and world cinema, but also someone who has done so much for humanitarian causes”.

Although, people who previously won the title include Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, Aishwarya Rai, Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton, music legend Dionne Warwick, American civil rights leader Jesse Jackson, Jackie Chan among others.
