Defending champion India outclassed Bangladesh to enter the grand finale of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 against Pakistan on 18 June 2017 at The Oval.
Skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma shared a superb unbeaten 178-run partnership to lead India an easy nine-wicket victory over Bangladesh who were knocked out of the ICC Champions Trophy on Thrusday. Virat Kohli was unbeaten on 96, while Rohit Sharma was unbeaten on 123.

After being invited to bat first by Virat Kohli in the second semifinal of ICC Champions Trophy 2017, Jasprit Bumrah, Kedar Jadhav and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took two wickets each as India restricted Bangladesh to 264/7 in 50 overs courtesy some brilliant batting by Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal (70 runs) and wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim (61 runs).
