India incredibly beat Bangladesh by 208 runs on day 5 of the one-off test match in Hyderabad.
Indian bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja helped their team to achieve an outstanding victory.
Bangladesh failed to chase down the target as they ended up with 250 runs in the second innings.
With this triumph, India has also extended their unbeaten streak to 19 matches in Tests and 20 at home.
Virat became the man of the Match for his splendid fourth double century. After winning the match he said “Putting up a good score in the first innings is always good. The opposition batted well. The bowlers got back into their groove before an important series and all in all a good performance.
While appreciating the team spirit he said “The guys stuck it out, worked really hard for the wickets, and did not get overexcited which was really good to see. Ishant’s spell with the new and the old ball, swinging it, either way, was heartening to watch. Bhuvi bowled beautifully with the old ball which is positive for us.”
Now Virat Kohli-led team India will play their four test match series against Australia starting from February 23 and will go on until March 29.
