Japan Open: PV Sindhu loses in straight games

The Indian badminton player suffered a defeat by the world champion Nozomi Okuhara in straight games by 18-21, 8-21 on Thursday.

It was discovered that Indian badminton player comes into the tournament after winning the Korean Open Super Series last week.

The Indian badminton champion got defeated after four days when Sindhu had defeated Okuhara three-game final of the Korean Super Series.

It was reported that PV Sindhu could perform well and lost the game with 18-21, 8-21.

Where on the other hand, London Games bronze medallist too lose the game a 14- 10 lead in the opening game and went down 16-21 13-21 to Olympic champion Carolina Marin of Spain.

World No.8 Srikanth who won back-to-back titles in Indonesia said in a statement, “It was a good match. He can be very dangerous if you give him a chance, so I wanted to play very consistently”.

It was discovered that it was the third encounter between both the players in past month.

The Indian badminton player PV Sindhu suffered a fifth loss against the world champion in her nine outings.

Following this, it was the end of Saina Nehwal as well in the series as she goes down 16-21 13-21 against Carolina Marin.
