Apple is all set to start assembling of the iPhone SE- Apple’s low-priced model at its Bengaluru manufacturing plant in India which has being set up by its Taiwanese manufacturing partner Wistron corp.

It is reported, Apple is setting up a manufacturing plant to focus solely on assembling iPhones at the initial stage.

The company will start manufacturing by the end of April this year with a target of assembling around 3, 00000-4, 00000 units of iPhone SE at the early stage.

Last year in December, the company had shared lists of demands with Indian government regarding the issues including tax concessions, lower duty rates, and prerequisites for extending manufacturing plant in the country.

The report also asserted that company is likely to set up the plant without waiting for the government’s approval.
