Philippine Marines killed in fighting with terrorists

Daesh terrorists unified to ISIS killed thirteen Philippine marines in Marawi city battle on Saturday.

The marines were doing a house-to-house search for militants aligned with the Daesh terror group who are still possessing many parts of Marawi City when the battle erupted Friday, said Lt. Col. Jo-ar Herrera, representative for the Philippine armed force’s first Infantry Division.

He said  that in regards to 30-40 terrorists used civilians as human shields, making it hard for our troops to work, and furthermore situated themselves in the city’s numerous mosques.

More than 40 other marines were injured, he said.
